The DX MP Duplex series water softeners are high-efficiency systems designed for residential and commercial applications. The Autotrol 278 Twin valve with volumetric Logix Timer ensures robust and flexible operation, ideal for installations with high and continuous consumption, thanks to its ability to operate in both alternating and parallel modes.

How a water softener works

Water softeners use ion exchange resins to remove limescale from water, preserving the lifespan of systems and appliances. Regeneration occurs through a sodium chloride solution, with the possibility of setting in volume, time, or manual mode, based on user needs.

Water softeners reduce limescale deposits, preventing damage to heating systems and lowering energy consumption. Additionally, softened water maintains the shine of surfaces, reduces wear on faucets, and limits soap and detergent consumption, contributing to environmental sustainability.
